We do the move for you.

Switching email is nerve-racking because it's easy to lose something along the way. So we don't hand you a guide: we do it ourselves, while you keep working in your current email.

Step by step

  1. You tell us what you have

    Where your email lives now, how many mailboxes there are and where your DNS is. From that we give you a time estimate before we start.

  2. We copy every mailbox

    Messages and folders, exactly as they were. The copy runs in the background; nobody has to stop using their email.

  3. We publish the records

    MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC. If your DNS is with us, they publish themselves. If it's elsewhere, we give you the exact list and check each record until it's right.

  4. We switch the MX at the agreed time

    Usually outside office hours. Right before, we do one last pass to pick up anything that arrived that day.

  5. We set up devices with you

    Outlook, Apple Mail and phones mostly configure themselves through autoconfiguration. If one refuses, we look at it together.

Where from

Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoho, any cPanel host and, broadly, any server that offers IMAP. If your provider is something else, ask us.

What we copy

Every message in every mailbox, with its folder structure: inbox, sent, archive and any folders you've made.

Some things depend on what the old provider lets us export, such as calendars, contacts or server-side rules. Before we start, we tell you what can come across in your case and what can't.

What we need from you

  • The domain name.
  • A way into the old mailboxes, which is nearly always an app password. We'll explain how to get one from your provider.
  • Access to your DNS, or bring it over to us. If you'd rather keep it where it is, that works too.

How long it takes

It depends on how much mail there is and how fast the old provider lets us read it: Google and Microsoft, for instance, throttle reading speed. That's why we base the estimate on your numbers, not on an average.

And the old account

We don't delete it. It stays until you decide to cancel it, in case you want to look something up or check nothing is missing.
